They make removal tools, but I have used a screwdriver and gently pryed right by the clips. Slowly work your way around the door. I just took a piece of 1/8th" or 3/16" 1" wide and about 6"long, cut a v 1/2" deep in the middle. Then just slide behind the panel and pry out. By the way, I did find the metal pushnuts at my local auto paint store. A package of 25 of them was 3 bucks. Anyway, that's my contribution toward removing the woodgrain inserts on the door panels. It CAN be done without any damage, you just have to be careful, as the dremel will want to chew into ANYthing plastic.
